Desitin is a travel companion app that helps users discover attractions, accommodations, and experiences in Kenya. We provide information about tourist destinations, allow users to save favorites, plan trips, and find nearby services.
To access certain features, you may need to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.
You agree not to use the App for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the App. You will not attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or engage in any activity that interferes with the App's operation.
The App and its content, features, and functionality are owned by Desitin and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written consent.
This application contains images sourced from various open platforms on the internet. We do not claim ownership of any images unless explicitly stated. All images are used in good faith under open-source, Creative Commons, or fair use principles. If you are the rightful owner of any image used in this app and believe that it has been used inappropriately or without proper attribution, please contact us at advernet.africa@gmail.com so we can promptly address the issue. Whenever possible, we strive to credit the original creators. Full attribution details are available upon request. If any content infringes on copyrights, it will be reviewed and removed or properly credited in subsequent updates.
Our App may use your device's location services to provide location-based features. You can control location permissions through your device settings. Location data is used solely to enhance your app experience and find nearby attractions.
Our App may integrate with third-party services such as Google Maps and Firebase. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and conditions. We are not responsible for the availability or functionality of third-party services.
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, secure, or available at all times. Information about attractions and accommodations is provided for informational purposes only.
Desitin shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for using the App, if any.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify users of material changes through the App. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the App at our sole discretion, without prior notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or our business.
